I recently heard the Luchese's and Philly made a bunch of new guys. Is this true and if it is anyone know who they are?

Guys are getting made every year and we don't find out about who or when for years or decades later usually until a indictment comes down or someone flips.

They got made at the local sports bar in the back room on hip hop night. Jeans and their best oversized t shirt was the dress code.

I have no idea if that's true or not and neither does anyone else here, but guys get made every year as previously stated. Sometimes they have two ceremonies in one year. It all depends on how many desperate idiots with small penises are out there.

The only person I know for the Lucchese being proposed for membership is someone named Bruno. Philadelphia is said to have made two new members last year. The families make new members every year as stated and dont find out until someone who is connected tells, or wait a few years until after the fact.

You don’t have to worry that they got jammed up for something serious violent crimes that have long sentences attached to them, which would than make them prime for the feds to try and flip them.

I know there are a few lists floating around the internet with different data.

I am almost positive the following guys have their buttons:

1) M.G. Luke’s
2) A.G. Gambino
3) D.D. Colombo
4) R.T. Colombo which I have seen on most lists at this point.

One guy that should get his button soon would be Anthony "Bugz" Silvestro. He finished his prison sentence and I am sure the Colombos will make him. Maybe Joey Amato jr could also get his button from the Colombos.

Bugs claimed (through his lawyer) he was done with that lifestyle…although that could have been just to make the judge be more lenient on him.

No doubt Amato Jr. will get it.

I wonder if outsider Dominick Ricigliano (the indie shylock Scorcia’s crew had a beef with) will ever become an associate. Not with the Colombo’s of course, but perhaps with a different family. Based on what I read about him he had a fierce reputation and his shy book was quite large. He got fired from his gig at the ports, now he’s got a record, so job opportunities aren’t abundant.

I wonder if Pete Tuccio would/could have gotten made in prison for taking that 10 year bid on?

Very rarely,I remember Fat Larry Spada for the Colombos in the 2000s and Spinelli for the Luccheses in the 1990s for sure there was other cases but I dont think Tuccio have a change to be made in Philly only for because accepted to done time in jail.

According to John Pennisi, Tuccio can't be made because in the past, he took the test to join the police. That's what Joe "Café" DeSenna (Tuccio's uncle) told him.

If I was a NY family, i would put him on record and eventually get him made. As you said, his operation was pretty big and he ran it independently which is amazing but also very telling about the state of the mob in Brooklyn.

They *did* manage to get him though…at least according to what Bugs said to Scorcia. At first, they failed to jump him because Ricigliano wisely had his house under full cctv and only hanged around busy restaurants and diners with plenty of witnesses. Then Silvestro (allegedly and according to his own words) got to him and must’ve beaten him up or something.

Ricigliano must be quite pissed at them since he was probably off the radar until that crew targeted his operation.

That’s an example as to why independents cannot win against LCN, no matter how tough the independent is SOLVED.

With his operation exposed, Ricigliano now either plays ball and gets on the record or abandons that life completely. If he’s as good as they claimed, and if he headed back into it, he must’ve rebuilt his shy by now so guys (not the Colombos this time but some other crew) will attempt to tax him again.
