I regret that I was not here during the 911 period. Not that my presence would have made a bit of difference, but I was so grief-stricken and glued to the tv coverage. I suppose it would have been therapy for me to mourn together with people directly involved.  My heart was with everyone though. To end however on a happier note, I love that I can tease and joke with most everyone here. If it was serious discussion 24/7, I'd be disappointed. TIS

Don Geoff Malta: I loathe you and condemn you for this site and could never congratulate you for coming up with 8,000 mind numbimng posts what a waste of time and talent! Because of you I sit in front of this stupid screen and veg out. My eye site has deteriated, my fingers have no feeling in them anymore, and I frequenlty sucomb to grand mal siezures from reading all the bickering that goes on in the political threads. As a matter of fact, my lawyer will be contacting you should you wish to settle out of court. Your site has made me less productive and made a wreck of my life. Seriously, I think I just scared myself! I was starting to sound like a liberal -- not taking responsibility and balming all my problems on someone else Congratualtions on 8,000 and moreso for creating and maintaining a classy site. I know you will be the first to say - the reason for the success is the members (well msot of them ) but we all know who provided the vision for "this thing of ours" Thanks and congrats!
