I wonder if Franzese will mention the time Gerry Cooney gave him a tip that he was gonna lose his fight against Larry Holmes and Franzese made $30,000 and to show his appreciation, he told a congressional committee all about it !!

In all fairness, if you or I lived his life for 45 years and that was all you knew, would we go get a construction job then?
I agree he never lost the street sense to want to monetize his time to the MAX but, there is some moral value to his appearances. It isn’t like he is appearing to sell everyone Snuggie blankets or Shake weights.

Yes they broke many laws and many might feel better for an odd reason, if they go crawl under a rock...(Leonetti, Massino, etc...)

If I or you were him, would we do things different? Not sure. Eventually I would like to lift off the, I am scum and everyone hates me mindset and embrace my past, not erase it.
