i have been going down the cartel rabbit hole latley and it is disturbing what these freaks do! they are so much more interesting than the mafia they will dissolve a baby alive in acid and castrate ive seen a lot of videos of skinnings battings and even a few dismemberments and castrations. i have a picture i wanted to post its a skinned head and they put the guys balls in his mouth no joke look it up.

A lot of people say that the cartels are replacing the Mafia, however when it comes to the actual Mafia from Italy, they're allies with several Italian Mafia groups and while they brutalize each other, you don't really hear about them doing it to other groups. They don't want to jeopardize good relations that guarantee them global political clout and expert money launderers in those respective countries. Yes, they are more brutal, but they won't ever be more interesting, if they were, there'd be Award-winning movies and TV shows on them. They can kill 100,000 people a day and still won't be as interesting. Maybe to you and a few others they are. I find organized crime in general interesting.

One thing about the cartels is that I can hear about them almost every day turning on my local news, because we're just right across the border. Same way I imagine people in Italy hear the news talking about the Mafia everyday. So many are already talking about it.

I do find their brutality fascinating. That's what happens when a country becomes a narco-state. I can only imagine how Europe would be if it naturally produced cocaine.

The cartels are like the prohibitionism gangs,some survived and other was disbanded the mafia wasnt focused only on the drug trafficking like the cartels and many important the mafia prefer to stay in the shadows and survive when how many cartels are born and died from 2020?

Cartels as we know in Mexico, Colombia, Brazil...wouldn't survive in a country like USA, Canada or a European country. Their brazenly violent ways won't really last long before a complete crackdown happens. It's just a completely different criminal climate.
They're not interested in "taking over" organized crime in those countries either; they're perfectly content being a main source for narcotics so other organized crime groups in North America, Europe, Oceania...can handle their business in their own respective areas.

That being said, the level of violence they commit in their own countries is insane to the point it's surreal. Informants and rivals are getting dismembered, skinned, have their chests flayed and their hearts cut out...all the while they're still alive. It's complete madness over there.

I agree, in other countries they tone down the violence and act more like the Mafia.

They're actually smart, and chameleons.
