With the denial of an all-inclusive effort to distribute drugs and the infighting for dominating the racket, Did each Family enter the drug business at different times and did they establish their own networks?

What is the drug origins of Luciano-Genovese, Profaci-Colombo, Lucchese, Bonanno and Gambino Families? and where did some of the other families fall into the pecking order, like Tocco-Zerilli, Magaddino, Trafficante and Marcello Families?

From the beginning in the US. In 1923, Luciano was caught in a sting selling heroin to undercover agents.
