Instead of doggin the Yankees and name-calling and acting like uncivilized people-let's try and figure out what went wrong. I mean not to be a ball buster or anything-but our boys haven't been winners this long to become called "greedy", "sell outs", and "sucky" automatically in one game.

I know Yanks fans are upset-but obviously we were NOT our best out there last night. What do you guys think was the problem? I heard a sports caster dude saying, by this time next year-The Yanks will be the 2004 Mariners..WHAT?

*Let me just say, however, that was AWESOME baseball being played by the Sox last night-they played their butts off. Butts weren't as cute as NY's -but were butts nonetheless.

I think that 'what went wrong' has been being discussed both here and all over the sportsworld, and long this post-season even began.

On the YES postgame show last night it was made clear that the Yankees MUST strengthen their bullpen next season.

And what's wrong with name-calling and acting like uncivilized people? It's the God-given right of disappointed sports fans to call names and act uncivilized when their team lets them down.

Especially when their team COULD HAVE won but decided to get sloppy in the 11th hour.

gotcha. I see where you're coming from App. Pitching was definitely the key, and I would be lying if I said I wasn't EXTREMELY disapointed now and especially last night. It was like watching your dreams go down the toilet. There's always next year I guess.
