I had never gotten into a real fight, but today was my very first one and it was just brilliant. This guy had been bothering me for some time so I pushed him away and the next thing I know is that we have both punched each other in the face several times. There were limbs everywhere. I had grabbed him from the back of his shirt and I was punching him with all of my strength in the back because he was face down. He fell to the floor and I kicked him as if he was a bag of sand, and then he stood up and punched me in the face 2 times, one in each cheek. With my arm, I pushed him, holding his neck, to the lockers and I was starting to choke him pretty roughly. I wasn't measuring my strength and he told me, coughing, to stop, and then, having the most brilliant moment together, the teacher moves past us and the guys around us split us up. Luckily, no teacher saw us and my pals congratulated me on my fighting skills. I had never believed in fights, thought they were ridiculous but now I'm gonna watch Fight Club everyday, and I'm gonna pick a fight with this other guy who had been bothering me for a long time now. I have a few bruises next to my eye but nothing serious, though.

If you have to rely on a movie to get ideas on how to protect yourself you're gonna get your ass kicked. If you are the one to pick fights with others you're gonna lose friends, not win them.

I always thought fight was a guy thing until I watched "Bringing down the house"! Anyway, I read this on IMDB news yesterday. Now that's what I call a challenge! Phoenix's Bizarre Wrestling Challenge Hollywood heart-throb Joaquin Phoenix got more than he bargained for when he appeared on American chat show Thursday morning - a wrestling challenge from his female interviewer. The actor appeared on daytime chat show Live With Regis & Kelly to promote his new movie Ladder 49, when bubbly host Kelly Ripa began boasting about beating him in a thumb-wrestling match when he visited the set two years ago. She then presented him with a new challenge - a leg wrestle. As Phoenix looked on in bemusement, Ripa laid flat on her back on the studio floor, and asked him to get down and join her. After he reluctantly complied, Ripa demonstrated the game, and flipped the actor over with her leg in the process. When Ripa asked if he was ready to play after the demonstration, he shot back, "I thought we just did it for real! Time out... I'm holding on... I'm totally scared."

Michael/Corleone, NEVER underestimate the power of your enemy! No truer words were ever spoken. In Martial Arts you are taught how to fight and DEFEND yourself. But you are also taught that you should never pick on someone thinking that you can beat them. You just never know, what they actually know in the art of fighting and you just may be in for a surprise. You are taught to asess the situation, always wanting to talk your way out if possible and only to use your fighting skills as a last resort. Not to say that you should wait and be attacked first, but after you've exausted all efforts in asessing the situation and you know that there is absolutely no way out unless you fight, then and only then do you go on the offensive and take the other guy out. If you are attacked, you do what has to be done. If you feel that you are going to be attacked, you stay ready, size up the situation, and then make your move from there. But NEVER bully or pick a fight, because evetually you will pick on the wrong person, who may know more than you do, and get you butt kicked in, or even worse get yourself killed. Not to mention that to pick on people or bully them is just plain wrong. Don Cardi

Perhaps I didn't make myself clear when I said "pick a fight with a guy who had been bothering me (...)". I'm not going to punch him in the face as soon as I see him, instead, I'm gonna wait till he says something to me, push him and start insulting him, perhaps he avoids the fight but perhaps he doesn't. About a week ago, he started fucking with me, so I said to him "let's see if you're a man" and gestured him to come to the bathroom and fight, but the guy just refused to do so and got out of there. I'm just gonna wait till he does something and the next thing he will know is that his face ceased to exist. I'm not much of a strong guy myself, in fact, I could be considered as sort of weak in comparison to other guys at school but the advantage is that I'm like jelly. Because I'm very thin I can dodge every punch and make some light, quick moves.
"M/C, when you're big and ugly enough we're gonna have to have a rook sometime."
Just wait 30 years, and I will be big and ugly enough, hopefully unmarried like to kick any guy's ass.

Firstly, welcome back to the warzone. Fights are horrible. I've had my fair share in the past, never fair ones, always with older students. MC, if you like the relief you can get from a bit of adrenaline rush and aggression during a fight, I suggest you take up boxing. It keeps you mega fit, maintains a healthy physique, allows you to release your anger under controlled situations, and is essential in the mental element of a fight. Once you've been to a boxing class for a month or two, you'll have the self-discipline required in order to win any fight you need to. And if watching Fight Club makes you feel better and more confident going into school, then good for you; last time I watched Gladiator, I broke my teacher's jaw the day after. :p Mick

A good wind would blow him over. We are talking kiddie fights here. So let the boy talk big for now. Sooner then later he will grow up and know better. Until then let him feel like he has hair on his balls Fathersson, that picture was taken about 2 years ago, almost exactly. I hope I am fitter now and, if you are that interested, my balls are very hairy. :p I am 15 years old now. Mick, how the hell did that happen? How could you even punch your teacher, or was it just an expression?

Oh, I am sorry- You are a 15 year old tuff guy with hairy balls now. You are still talking like a guy with a paper asshole in a rainstorm. Start using your head tuff guy instead of what you think are your real muscles.

Have to say you are very cocky for someone that has won 1 fight, You should watch what you say cos 1 day you'll probably piss the wrong guy off and get a beating, and we don't want that now do we?
