Ex cop busted in prostitution ring is CEO of massive porn shop

The disability retirement ex-cop turned cyber pimp has also been moonlighting as the CEO of the largest porn shop on the East Coast, The Post has learned.

State records show that Michael Rizzi — the 44-year-old NYPD veteran busted for running a massive online prostitution ring — also runs Nitecap Megastore & Smoke Shop, a “professional adult wonderland” on Staten Island that claims to be “the cleanest dirty store in New York.”

It is the largest supplier of porn and adult toys on the entire East Coast and is located in the shadow of the Goethals Bridge at 690 Gulf Ave.

On Wednesday — and for the second time this week — Rizzi was released on a $100,000 bond after being arraigned in Brooklyn Supreme Court. He posted bond a day earlier in federal court, but was immediately taken back into custody after an unloaded gun was found during the raid on his home.

Meanwhile, sources recalled today how Rizzi “married into the mob” and quickly became one of their henchman.

“He’s a disgrace to the badge,” a source said. “He’s a bigtime player in the Gambinos. He’s not just a hanger on.”

The source remembered how Rizzi and his wife’s family, the Julianos, once scared a burglar working for the Colombos so bad he skipped town.

Despite the charges against him, sources said the nine-year NYPD vet will not lose his disability pension if convicted. He is scheduled to appear back in court on Friday.

Why should he lose his pension? It like if he worked for the rail road and retired. Then later gets arrested for something else has nothing to do with the pension he was receiving.

He was a smart ex cop except he got caught. He should have his porn business in one of his workers names.

My godfather Gabe owned 4 gas stations in the Bronx. He own a big house in the Bronx. But his real business was making porn. He looked like the old time actor Rosano Brazzi

My brother and I and the guy from Goodfellas who played Pete the killer who was Gabe's cousin spent the part of the summer months their to escape tenement life. He let us all try out his girls. We all went separately not together.

yea i saw this article too. The one in the Daily News says hes married to the Niece of Sonny Juliano who they state is a Capo in the Gaminos and that his wifes dad Richard Juliano is soldier in Sonnys crew...this article also claims that he is an associate of the Gambinos and is way more involved than just a hanger on..anyone know more about this shit?

Havent really heard much about Sonny Juliano cept that he was listed in I believe an older gangland or on BH as part of a 3 man ruling panel of the family at a time, not sure now tho..anyone know more about him? Not much online about him..whos crew did he come up in?

Also, if this cop is a Gambino associate it would seem to reason that they have some interest in the porn business still..not a huge shocker given the LCN history with this racket, but curious to know more about modern NY fams involved in porn/adult book stores.

Article says this is the biggest porn store on the east coast i believe, who the fuck still buys porn when u can get it free online, idk how the fuck they even stay in business

I don't know about the NYPD, but I believe here in NJ, one way towns get rid of problem cops is to give them a disability pension. It's easier than firing them. And if you're a cop who pissed off a police chief or whatever, are you gonna take your pension or risk losing it in a disciplinary hearing?

The guy probably ruffled a few feathers while a cop and they decided to frame him with some phoney prostitution charges. They probably planted the gun as well.
This wouldnt be the first time nor the last that the police framed an innocent man because of some old beef.
