Dwalin2011 OP D Underboss Joined: Apr 2011 Posts: 1,789	If we look at the period of time when there already was organized crime in Britain, but the death penalty hasn't yet been abolished, were there any cases for a mob boss or gang leader to be hanged? I read some pages available online of James Morton's Gangland Omnibus (2 volumes), and there is a mention of gang boss Antonio Mancini hanged in 1941, and it's said it was the first time in 20 years for a gang leader to be hanged in Britain. Were there any cases after that and who were the gangsters hanged 20 years before? Willie Marfeo to Henry Tameleo: 1) "You people want a loaf of bread and you throw the crumbs back. Well, fuck you. I ain't closing down." 2) "Get out of here, old man. Go tell Raymond to go shit in his hat. We're not giving you anything."

British Underboss Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 737 Great Britain	Sure some did, I know that some would have faced the noose if convicted. Seem to remember reading that Joey Pyle would have faced the death penalty if he was convicted of murder He beat the charge though British is best....
