It was a big racket , Feds clamped down , not so big anymore . FL was a big pipeline thru their loosely regulated clinics but NY and NJ had huge markets too

Either pay doc straight cash for a visit ($3-400 a visit ), sometimes this is organized where a crew will round up a lot of people and bus them into some doc on the take , in terrible cities like Camden , Newark , south Bronx , Passaic , Elizabeth etc. . Seeing 20-30 people a day at $300 cash a visit was very lucrative for the doctors , very . Possibly not a better score too then a doc that owes you $, everyone made out in a huge way

Do same or similiar arrangerment at pharmacy , cash deals but usually direct to the pills I believe , almost unlimited volume for the greedy ones ( who are the ones who ended up getting popped )

Or know someone at hospital with access. Now a connect like this could be the mother load , getting hundred of thousands of pills monthly

The first 2 also resulted in a lot of volume . FL resulted in a monster amount of volume for a time

Yes , this was a big money maker for CN for a time . Gave some crews that were big in gambling the ability to make a ton of quick cash . To the blue collar crews this was a game changer . Shit in SI , some Luchesse associates were selling directly out of ice cream trucks lol

CN did a very good job of insulating themselves this time so there was no pizza connection type bust for the Feds or media , usually just the associates or a few low level soldiers got popped so no one really associated one with the other but they played a big role in exploiting it along with other OC groups , especially Russians and Albanians etc. even some Jews were in on it

It's interesting, Doctors make a lot of money and shouldn't be bothering. But I've never met a group of rich people so concerned about money.

I work with a ton of doctors, staple of my biz. And running a practice is like any business. You can be great or you can be awful. And like I said, you'd be surprised how bad some of these guys are hurting. They'll blame obamacare of whatever but its their own damn faults. If you are struggling to make ends meet at 250k, then you fucked up.

I also happen to know a good amount about the pill business and its just crazy money. Way more lucrative than any other drug if you're giving out prescriptions! They sell at the street level for at least 1 dollar a MG for the good stuff. And a true addict can put down 150mgs a day, easy.

I should clarify that I'm talking about what I know. I'm sure it's different in other areas. I'm just sticking to what I know. That's what the best posters here do, anyway (not including myself there... They know who they are)

In Indy it seemed like an overnight switch from the pills to h, I can tell u first hand how it world for addicts and sellers. I started,out with pills because everyone had them and the prices weren't crazy, overtime prices went up and so I stupidly thought h would be cheaper it was for about 2 weeks then it got crazy expensive. Pills were still around, had a buddy that would get 360 30 mg roxy. Sell for min of 20 each do tha math, he was a 28 year old in fine shape no need for that much. Well just like every where else Feds crack down docs got scared and he get cut off. Now everyone does dope and if pills are around they are super expensive. Also Suboxne doctors are limited to how many people they can treat so there are waiting list years long bc they are also terrified of,dea busts. But tha methadone clinic I go to has 2 hr line on Saturday that looks eerily similar to a line at a dope house

The Philly guys (Joe Mousie Massimino and Associate Billy Andrews) got busted around mid-to-late 2000s for a pill op and they were moving around 50k pills per transaction earning $1.50 a pill. They also had a loansharking operation tied to it which is genius. Like sharking and gambling, these pills go hand in hand with shy because addicts need daily dose and might need to borrow to keep up with habit... Not sure how active they are right now but wouldn't be surprised if they had something going still of sorts. the Philly Pagans also just got busted in a big prescription case and the dr got charged as well.

at the prices people are willing to pay for these pills, how is the market not finding a way to supply them?

The prices blow my mind, $20-40 a pill to the end user!? If pills did flow freely again, would the people who switched to h go off h and back to pills? Or would they stick with h because it's cheaper?

I have health insurance. I have a lifelong ailment, which caused me to get necrosis in my lower back, which basically means its a dead spot and no blood flows through it, and the daily pain is a bitch, and when its severe its almost always a guaranteed hospital visit. Well I gdt Oxycontin's and Roxycodones for everyday use. Every month is 180 roxies, 90 oxycontins. The Oxys can sell too, but most people want the Roxies because they're a freaking racket. Needless to say, I dont normally do this, but when I'm in need of some cash, I can afford to move about 60 of them. Just last month I made over 2000 dollars in a day for those 60 pills. Its crazy, the demand for these things. I take a ride out to Suffolk though, because these Hempsteadians cant afford to pay for even 20 of them, so you either lower your prices severely, or you get robbed. Thats a lose-lose, so Suffolk is where its at for these kinds of things. My own family members are trying to convince me to find a way to cheat my insurance company, so I can just get scripts back to back. Sure any doctor can do that, but what the idiots fail to understand is the insurance company limits how much they'll pay for, and its pretty much like one full bottle a month.

And with the restrictions the FDA and drug enforcement have put into place, it isnt surprising the racket is pretty much non-existent in most places. Had this been years ago, I'm sure the families would be deep into the insurance aspect of it. Because youre basically getting these things at the governments expense. Which is why they've done what they have. The government probably realized how easy it was for actual sick people to pocket money on their own without the Gov seeing a substantial portion for themselves.

This shit breaks my heart. I Understand the $ attraction, but fuck man, kids are losing their lives over this.
