It may have been discussed before but I missed it. At the Dons commitee summoned by Vito Corleone, he greets the Dons and says "...Carmain Corleone from the Bronx and all the other Dons from all over the country...". Could there be another Corleone? confused Could that be the notorious SIXTH FAMILY??? confused confused

(I'd whish...!!)

Although it DOES sound like he's saying 'Carmine Corleone' and although that is the name that appears in JGeoff's transcript...and it took me a long time and many viewings to accept this as fact...Vito is actually naming Carmine Cuneo as one of the Dons attending his meeting.

Apple's right.. I swear that on my VHS tape of the Saga (the one that goes in order) Vito says "Carmine Corleone" but on the DVD you can clearly hear him say Cuneo. It is, of course, supposed to be Cuneo.

And at the end of the film when Michael puts the squeeze on Carlo, he tells him that they are all dead, Phillip Tattaglia, Barzini, Stracchi, Cuneo. Michael says it loud and clear.
