The documentary mentions Vincent and George Zappola.

I think that is how you pronounce it.

I believe Vic Amuso was involved, in one of the books it mentions they found tapes in Otto Heidels place of him recording Amuso while they were at a robbery pulling security in a van. Vic was complaining about how fucking cold it was, and where they could get some chicken noodle soup.

Anthony Zappola is an interesting case, wasn't he an ex cop? Joe Brewster from Greg Scarpa crew was in the gang too.

Yeah,Good stuff here and also some pics I haven't seen before of Casso and Amuso.Toward the beginning when the lady detective repeats that Casso has 36 murders it sort of drove home for me how bad his rep was on the street..There is a great thread going now asking if Gotti was afraid of the "Chin".I truly believe Al D' Arco that Gravano was afraid of Casso.Gravano was a killer himself no doubt and many probally had a "death wish" or not afraid of being killed in that life.But I cant imagine anyone that would want this man after you.I can now see how the Gemini Twins made their way toward Casso and why the contract to kill Demeo and also to kill Gotti went to Casso.Gravano states in underboss that Casso was "as tough as they come".There aint no doubt about that
