Which families have crews operating in Queens? My guess would be the Bonnano, Gambino, and Genovesé families. I don't believe the Colombo or the Luchese families have crews in that area.

Rom's semi-retired. But even though that list is a little bit outdated, you still did a very nice job, Furio. Buon Anno! Good for him, he got lucky during his last trial. So much for massino being a valuable witness. Yeah, but that case was pretty convoluted to begin with. The informant ended up getting the boot from the Feds for lying (even though the Feds swore he had a heart attack), and the real target was Tony anyway. But that's the government for you. The biggest victory there was that the Judge was human enough to let Tony and Rom see each other without violating themselves. They go back longer than you're alive. Hell, they go back longer than I'm alive!

Who os monk sassano and why was Alphone Truccio knocked down? What did he do to Sassano? It had nothing to do with the Monk. But Monk got the spot after Al got his wings clipped in the can.

Like PB explained before, Trucchio got demoted for getting into a beef with JoJo Corrozo's son, the lawyer and and extorting one of his own crew members Frank Roccaforte, the brother of Michael Roccaforte, a made guy who was Trucchio's right hand man, it's all quite complicated but I'm sure Truchio will get his stripes back when he gets out, he's not even 40 yet and a MEGA earner, just needs to cool his temper I think. He gets out in 2020 so maybe the administration will have changed by then and he'll get his stripes back. As for Monk Sassano, he's an old timer. Must be around 65-70 years old.

Read one time that he was the guy that punched John Gotti in the face and got away with it.Apperantlly he had a bit of a temper. These are street guys, Alex. They get in scuffles, they often work it out. If someone got killed every time a mob guy got slapped in the mouth, the recruiting pool would have died off a long time ago.

Where was Michael “Mickey Boy” Paradiso from? Was he like Gotti from East New York,or was he acctually from Queens..?Read one time that he was the guy that punched John Gotti in the face and got away with it.Apperantlly he had a bit of a temper. Paradiso was a Queens guy, him and Gotti had a fight when they both were associates, they were friends after though. Micheal was latter in his crew or what?Where from from Queens,Ozone park..? From what I understand, yes. He got the old Bergin Hunt crew.

Of course Pizza,a friendly spar session.Tell me PB do you know where this guy was from in Queens?I meen where his hq was?Get what you meen about the fight, but you rearlly cant read something like that.Although its logic thatt it would happen. Paradiso was a Gotti loyalist, loud mouthed tough guy who couldn't stay out of prison. John had a lot of loyalists around him.SOme of them were his age even older. The guy must of really had personallity.Everyone says he was a real tough guy from a tough neighbourhood.REad in the book Surviving East ny,the war zone by Richard Q.It mentions a incident where there was a fight betwen Gottis Fulton Rockaway boys and the notorious New lots boys(Italian, jewish and irish gang from East NY).In the middle of the fight Gotti pules out a shootgun and blastes in the air,and the fight is over.Crazy MF.

We could talk about Gotti's great personality all day. However, it was his natural born leadership skills that he had and most guys can never get. Its a trait only few have and thats why there are not many leaders. Casso and Scarfo also had that trait. That shit cannot be taught. Thats why i always laugh when some of you guys question the height and toughness of some mob guys. Its all about being a leader. Evil people can be funny, charismatic, charming, and even sympathetic.

Tough tony of genovese i know for a fact operates in queens, his restaurant is there too. Tony's all but retired. But you're right about the Parkside. He's there often and looks just like any other retiree sipping a glass of wine. Tremendous earner in his day, though.

And to a lesser degree, Jackson Heights. He got off with Farby's old man.

Was Mickey boy Paradiso from Corona too? I have no earthly idea. But Corona was HEAVILY Italian back then. Today it's mostly Dominican with a few pockets of Italian leftovers.

Thank buddy.Lemon ice is famous, first time i saw it was on that King of Queens show. Here is another example of the good looking mobsters daughter,Leah Remini, half italian half jewish.Although its a thing for another tread. Big Georgie was good with Tommy Gambino,as i understand it correctly.Anyway Leah looked real good in the 90s,she was real hot.Havent seen her lately.
