Im halfway through season 5 of the Sopranos. I dont want to finish too quickly. Therefore, for tonights viewing pleasure, I need recommendations for mob films on Netflix or Amazon. What do you suggest I watch tonight?

Saw it Footreads. Iceman is not that bad. I watch movies to pass the time. I don't care if it's based on 100% reality, I only care if they entertain me. The best movies for me are the old Westerns. Now that was entertainment! Tonight I'm watching Das Boot!

Netflix just put seson 3 of hell on wheels on instant stream, thats what ill be watching tonight.

Lilyhammer is good stuff. Good characters -- Torgeir and Roy to name a couple.

The first season of lilyhammer was good. Its fun to watch Silvio in witness protection. Is it just me or do they speak in norwegian a whole lot more in the second?

Breaking Bad..

Breaking bad started me watching Tv shows again. Before That I just watched the sopranos, movies and soccer.

Just don't watch the show in its last year when he offered an ariyan gang all his money about well let's just say a shit load of money if they don't kill his brother in law.

Brother in law can you imagine that I once threw my brother in law Philly down a flight of stairs for being a cheap bastard towards his oldest son. He was divorcing his wife his son was little at the time. He needed a special formular when he was a little kid. If he did not get it, it could make him slow mentally. Eventually he would out grow it. He listened to his fuck up divorce lawyer and did not give her the money.

So I had to pay for it. The next time I saw him he knocked on my door to talk to his sister who was my wife. I said hello Phil and threw him down a flight of stairs. Put him in the hospital.

Now many years later he is out of work in his mid 60s. Company down sized then he started to call us again. I know he wants a hand out. Which I will not do. But he is handy and can fix things. So I use him for shit like that.

Oh his son is 41 now he is fine. He does not speak to his father any more. He is on Facebook with my oldest son. So they get together once in a while. Sometimes he comes over for dinner. He is a good kid.

The Family wasn't the greatest of film, but entertaining. In my book, it gets points for having Domenick Lombardozzi's character killed.

Why did DeNiro's character turn rat. I don't remember them ever saying why he turned rat. He may have been evil but he was afraid to leave his family and going to jail?

His kids and his wife were kind of like him in their own way. He would put them in danger for what?

He would do something like tell his hot wife and kids not to ever visit him in jail. Think of him as already dead. Tell his wife to divorce him and find someone new.

So canT under stand why he would rat out his friends.

So that is why I did not like the movie.

He actually was in some twist rock and roll movie in the 60s as an extra.

The star of that movie Joey Cortese is some one I know knew Pesci as well.

Like them both I though Cortese would be a big star after seeing that movie. I don't know why that never happened for him.

Pesci told me while filming that movie they both had a fist fight on the set. He said he was beating the crap out of cortese until broken up. Cortese is a giant compared to Pesce but I believe that story. Never mentioned it to cortese what would be the point. Like I said they are both nice people.

I did tell the story somewhere under another name. Cortese read it and said it never happen. Then someone else said he worked on the set of that movie and that it really did happen.

Thanks for the little insight on the movie, funny story....I think that Cortese let Pesci win tho.

Yeah... I like when they pull the doors off his house with the tow truck and he just stands there like wtf!

I'll tell you what NOT to watch -- Killing Season with Robert DeNiro and John Travolta.

Travolta plays this ex-Serbian soldier who's come over to America. I think I made it to about the 12:00 point, until Travolta's horrid excuse of a Eastern European accent made me go back to the main menu.

This is a great wiseguy flick.
