I think they are just trimming the fat on their old articles. Video especially take up a lot of bandwidth (which costs money) and that particular one is five years old now. To us it's a big deal, but to them it's just another article/video.
I liked to watch it every now and then for a good laugh. I wonder if they took the Pizza Man video down too?
You have to hand it to Goudie; he is a pretty funny and daring guy.
While I know ambushing the likes of DiFronzo and Marcello is not really dangerous for someone in his position... I would still not want to do it, personally!
Hell no. Or imagine having been caught with the camera filming them inside?
Yeah, it's like, there is a 99 percent chance they are not going to kill you, because it would basically suicide to do so, due to the publicity it would cause.
But there is the 1 percent chance that you really pissed off someone who is by nature psychopathic and has killed a lot of people, including by beating them to death with their hands.
Those guys are all old geezers. Go to downtown Berwyn or downtown Elmwood park on a Friday night with a camera & youre asking for trouble.
Ha... I didn't mean DiFronzo would hurt you himself, Huron.
I expect he "knows people."
LOL.
All these guys are in like their 80's, right? And I'm guessing they're not hurting for money. I would also think that any conviction would be a life sentence since most have "pulled time" previously. So why in the world would they take any unnecessary chances ? I just wonder if "the life" is the only way they know and are simply addicted to the risk-taking and the thrill of organized crime. Just can't give it up. I may be way off here, but it just seems like these guys can't get out and stay out.

Lol funkster puts up a link to a story about difronzos company and all of a sudden cook's a fucking expert quoting it 50 times a week....you cant make this shit up.
"Let me tell you something. There's no nobility in poverty. I've been a poor man, and I've been a rich man. And I choose rich every fucking time."
I don't think Difronzo is all that active, maybe like accardo only giving advice and staying away from the day to day. But if the opportunity presents itself, I believe he will take it, like with the manhole covers.

I would be shocked if DiFronzo isn't retired and has been for a long time
Marcello certainly didn't seem to be but he spent I think at least 15 of the last 20 years in prison.
DiFronzo is more than likely retired and probably has been for a while. If he wasn't before Family Secrets then he definitely is now - he doesn't want to be like Joey Lombardo and live out his final days in solitary.
The guy is rolling dough, what else does he have to gain?
Difronzos heyday was in the fucking 1950s/60s. People forget how old he is because he's so spry. But believe me, his son overdosing on heroin down on Rush St killed whatever love he had left for the street game. He went into a deep depression & didn't recover until the early 2000s, and he's been the old man on the mountain ever since.
