You can tell where he didn't want to answer the question, he'd say "huh?"

Me neither, shame there isn't the full hour show kicking around. One of the things that shines through during the interview (and is evident in his book) is the level of self-justification he exhibits whenever some of the nastier, less 'honourable' elements of LCN life are brought up.

I always thought Bonanno was full of shit. He came across as such a pompous phony in his book.

Why did he even agree to be interviewed in the first place?

he's so convincing. it's so hard to imagine him as anything else other than a nice old grandfatherly italian man.

I'm not so sure, watch the eyes and nostrils flare when he's asked an awkward question... I would NOT like to have been on the business end of one of those stares 20 odd years previously!

His biggest mistake was voting GAMBINO in .Then not respecting his older cousin . If he a STEFANO had a better relationship , he could have ruled N.Y.C.
