Adolfo 'Big Al' Bruno Fotios 'Freddy' Geas Ty Geas Francesco 'Skyball' Scibelli Anthony J. Arillotta Salvatore L. "Big Nose Sam" Cufari Felix L. Tranghese Albert “Baba” Scibelli Carmine Manzi Giuseppe “Little Joe” Manzi Emilio Fusco Paul “The Penman” Cardaropoli Carlo Sinischalchi* Antonio Miranda* Joseph Fiore* Anthony “Turk” Scibelli John “Jake” Nettis Gaetano Milano Frank Pugliano Louis Pugliano Frank Colantoni Jr. Anthony J. Delevo Gary D. Westerman Mario Fiore Ricky S. Songini Brandon D. Croteau Andrew Pradella John Pradella Anthony J.Santaniello Anthony Scibella Anthony Delevo Frankie Roche These guys with the exception of the 3 with the * by their names, were all part of the Genovese Crime Family. The Genovese have had a crew running Western Mass. and the area around it since the 1930s. While they were indeed the Boss in Spingfield, the Bosses were only Capos in the Genovese crime family. Namely, 'Big Nose Sam', 'Skyball' and 'Big Al'. The other 3 were the local bosses during the prohibition era. Carlo 'King of the Bootleggers' Sinischalchi held the title less than a year before he was whacked. Then 2 more gangsters, Miranda then Fiore married his widow and took over the business. Miranda died of blood poisoning, Fiore was gunned down a year after the widow was shot and killed (Fiore was wounded) in an ambush. The reason I'm posting this is because it seems relatively obscure and I live about 20 minutes from Springfield so naturally I took an interest in it's organized crime. At one point,in their heyday, the Springfield 'crew' held rackets from Albany to Hartford. Organized crime in Springfield had a foothold in more contemporary, traditional rackets: street lotteries, truck heists, illegal sports-betting and casino junkets, among others. Today there is no clear boss of Springfield. If anyone has anymore info on the Springfield mob or who is currently in charge, by all means, reply... The Springfield Crew had a nice run but they're all finished. I think that's a bit of a stretch, while the Bruno murder brought down some guys I'm sure it took all of 3 minutes for a new capo to be put in charge there. It wasn't like they infiltrated the entire crew, they just got the 3 or 4 guys in the murder conspiracy. To me, Springfield would be a goldmine. It's off the beaten track and has flown under the radar for years until the Bruno killing.

Hey PMAC I read Bruno's son's statement, really powerful stuff. I agree with everything he said. He really exposed Arillotta as the coward he really is. Its crazy that Phil Leonetti got less time for more bodies but then again he gave the Feds way more. Really there was not too much Arillotta could give them outside Springfield.
the Best part about the Maragni sentencing was when his lawyer said he would lose his job if he goes to jail. I love how the prosecutor said that's too bad and if he is actually good at his job then maybe he can get it back when he gets out. It is good to see these jerks get some punishment. I bet both of these guys get in trouble again just like Gravano did.

I bet both of these guys get in trouble again just like Gravano did. he gave them Artie Nigro, the acting boss at the time, that was a pretty big arrest, and Nigro got a life sentence in large part due to Arilotta, thats why i was kinda surprised he got hit so hard. but in reality Arilliotta has been locked up since 2010 so he's got 4 years as time served plus no way he does more than 80% of sentence, so he will probably be out in a couple of years.

True, what I meant was that in terms of informants such as Crazy Phil and Sammy Gravano, his information was pretty insignificant. I mean he really had no impact other than Artie Nigro on the Genovese operations in NYC or Jersey.

First off Gaetano Milano was made with the Patriarca's, I believe he pulled the trigger on Wild Billy Grasso back in the day, also there are at least a handful of Genovese guys from up there who aren't in prison namely the Manzi's, Pugliano's etc, also your forgetting Tony Volpe
