(mainly thinking about the "flashbacks" in the second movie) Is the story and details around it the same as in the films? Looking forward to start reading it! Do you know who I am? I'm Moe Greene! I made my bones when you were going out with cheerleaders!

goombah Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 6,762 Anytown, USA	Welcome! It is 90% the first film, but also includes a section about the flashback from GFII with Young Vito, Tessio, Clemenza & Fannucci. There is nothing about III in the novel whatsoever. As the case with many movies made from novels, the book is more detailed. That is a pro and a con - you'll see when you read it. There are some parts of the book that are not included in the movie - again that is good and bad.
