I find it really hard to find stuff on what's going on in Sicily today with Cosa Nostra, often articles are in Italian and only occasionally does anything appear in my Newspapers.
Anyone out there give me a run-down on whats going on? Any more news on Denaro? Thanks

Only thing new on Matteo Denaro is the police have arrested his sister, two cousins, one of them is Mario, and his nephew Frank Guttaduro about two weeks ago. Also this past June or July, Police thought he was at a house in Trapani, but it was only a couple of his soldiers, not even those close to him. His brother Salvatore is still in prison. With most of the top bosses being captured in the other clans, Denaro I believe has to be at the top of the most wanted fugitives list.

Salvatore Riina last week was pissed that the Italian Magistrate broke a truce deal between the Italian State and the Mafia. He threaten to kill the Magistrate and anyone else with him.

For the Stidda, they have been pretty quite since the big bust early this year in Catania, other then some of the group merging with other Mafia families in their areas. Francesco Annaloro old Stidda clan took a massive beating this past October in having a little over a million euro's seized by the police in Palermo.
