The Slippery Slope
My only guess would be that Michael paid a visit to a prostitute, which in the time before the sexual promiscuity among teenagers that we see today did not exist, was not uncommon.

Interesting, though, that DC would learn about any of Michael's youthful escapades, given his "strait-laced" attitude towards sex.

Perhaps the brothel was operated by Fredo? lol Or maybe the Don's colleague and putative future business partner Tattaglia? lol

When Mike turned 17 he put any fears to rest concerning his masculinity by having heterosexual contact with either a prostitute or a girlfriend. Most likely a prostitute, given the sexual behaviour of young Italian females in that pre-war era. IMHO.
