For what it is worth. I saw Ralph Macchio in an off broadway play as well as on broadway with Robert DeNiro. It was called Cuba and his Teddy Bear around 1985-86. Burt Young was also in it.

On this credit alone Macchio wins.

Tho I can't say I've seen a lot of either of their work, I'd give it to Macchio in the acting department and Baio in the looks department. Haven't seen either of them in years tho.

Baio was from originally from Brooklyn, not sure which neighborhood. So he might know the streets better and have more street cred. I think Ralph Macchio is originally from the suburbs of NY. Not 100% on that but i think he's from the burbs
