You can always go back an edit.
1). James Allegretti and Jimmy the Monk are the same person.
2). Forget: Nick DeJohn, Vincent Benevento, James Franzone, Leo Franzone, Leonard Calamia.

I'm not that good going back to the 1930's and 1940's. You have to stick with 1950's forward for me. My father never sat down and gave me a history lesson.
He would just talk in general about the present. Nothing ever incriminating. I picked up more info when he didn't think I was listening. LOL.

I wrote Jimmy Allegretti as Jimmy (Monk) Allegretti because Monk was his nickname. Was there some confusion about that?

On the others, maybe there's someone else who'll pop up with new info on those guys. After all, these posts stay up for years.

I understand, but why list him twice? Why not just list him once as 'Jimmy The Monk Allegretti'? That's all I was suggesting.

I didn't notice that I duplicated his name. It got duplicated as I used different charts and sources to make this list. I took out the first mention. I like the edit function they have here. :-)
