What is the 'bad' story about Luca? Is it that he killed the baby, or was it that he chopped the Henchman of Capone to pieces(literally)?

Hmmm... I think they're both pretty bad. lol (Imagines how it must suck to swallow a towel, choke, and die) Maybe the baby one is more shocking though.

Welcome, Omar! I have read many of your posts already but never gave you a greeting. (Shame on me) I look forward to seeing you around with that hot avatar you got there. wink

The story nobody would tell Mike was the one about the baby. They are both bad,but it's alot worse to kill an innocent baby than a Capone gunman IMO. But the story that Tom would not tell mike was the baby one.

What was even worse was that Luca didn't actually kill the baby. He ordered Filomena, the midwife who delivered the baby, to throw the baby in the furnace of the home where the baby was delivered. She balked, but Luca threatened her with a knife. Luca later killed the mother, was arrested for that murder, tried to cut his wrists in his jail cell. Filomena ran to Don Corleone for protection. Luca didn't work for the Don then, but he protected her by arranging to get Luca out of jail, at which point Luca became devoted to him. It's a great story that only appears in the novel.

Even a single thought of harming an infant makes u harsh and unholy. Like turnbull said, Luca didn't literaly do it.

Now as for killing the Capone Men? That was beyond ferociousness! He was more brutal

Michael ends up hearing the story from Filomena while he is exiled in Sicily.

Let me straighten this out. When I started reading the book, I kept wondering what the bad story was. When I came to the part about the two Capone guys, I was for sure that was the story. But then when I got to the part about the baby, I wasn't sure. I mean, the baby story happened before Luca knew the Corleones. The Capone story happened when he worked with the family. It made more since to me that the bad story was the Capone story because it was during the time when he worked for the Corleones. Though I will say, the baby story is much worse.
