Hey everybody,

Im trying to get some more information on the following Bonanno mug shot. Does anyone happen to know what department it originated from (NYPD, FBI..?) and what the arrest was for? I believe it was 1960. Any additional info will help.

Also, anyone happen to have this image in high resolution?

The mugshot was taken either when he was arrested in Nov of 1958 or when he was arrested in May of 1959. In total, five charges were brought up against him which all stemmed from the police raid in Apalachin; material witness, fail to report for grand jury, conspiracy to obstruct justice and two accounts of conspiracy to commit perjury.

Edit - Now when I come to think about it, I think he was arrested in 1966 too. The US government wanted him to give testimony about his 1964 disappearence. Possibly, the mugshot may have been taken in connection with that. I´m not sure.

Edit 2 - Oh, one more thing, if the mugshot is from 1958 or 1959, the Phoenix, Arizona FBI office would be the department.

Thanks for the info Hairy. Usually when im trying to get info on mug shots they are either holding or wearing the identification board that list the department, date, and arrest id. Because none of those things are visible im guessing its FBI.
