DC just gave me Scarface because I lost mine. I must say that AL Pacino is the best actor of all time. He really made you think he was Cuban and not acting. He is such a gift to the acting world. What a great actor and role. I really liked the scene when he is in the Bubble Bath and he says, "Who put this thing together? Me that's who!" I wanted to go upstairs and get me fat ass in the tub and puff on a cigar but I don't fit in the bathtub because of my weight issue! grin

DS

I woke up this morning with nothing to do and went to bed with only half of it done.

I love that scene also. I think it has to be my favorite. But I really dont have a bathtub that big but I wish I did.

No doubt that Pacinos role in Scarface was wounderful but he also did a great part in Scent of a Woman I thought it was a great movie with wonderful acting. The sence where Pacino is drving the car threw the ally way is by far my favorit.

I have to agree I also thought that Scent of a Woman was a brilliant movie and Pacino was as great as ever in it, but I think IMO Scarface is a better movie due to the fact that I feel I can watch it no matter what kinda of mood I am in, where as Scent of a Woman is not a film I feel like watching all the time smile Its still a great movie though and the scene when they are driving the car is classic! "Don't blame me, I can't see!"

Why does everyone like the tub scene so much? I never understood that. Sure his "c'mon pelican" line is great but the scene as a whole isn't my favorite. My favorite is the scene where Frank is killed with Tony, Manny, Chi Chi, Mel and Ernie

I like that scene because it shows you how wealthy he has become, the bigger the bath the more money you seem to have lol! Hence the reason I have a shower! grin I personally think that the whole resturant/bad guy scene is the most memorable for me that is.

Pacino is a great actor and one of my favorites because he can give you a great preformance whatever movie he is in, and he can usually play ANY role.

Despite Robert DeNiro seemingly being a bit more consistent over the years, with a few more great films to his name, I've always stuck with Pacino as my favorite actor and, in my opinion, the best of all time.

The Godfather
The Godfather Pt II
Heat
Donnie Brasco
Scent of a Woman
Scarface
Carlito's Way
Insomnia
Dog Day Afternoon

just some of my favorites of his.

I always think of De Niro as my favourite, he's in so many of my favourite films. I love Pacino too though: despite not being as consistent as De Niro, when Pacino is good he's awesome!

Some of my fave De Niro films:

Sleepers
Heat
Casino
A Bronx Tale
Cape Fear
Goodfellas
The Untouchables
Angel Heart
The Mission
Once Upon a Time in America
Raging Bull
The Deer Hunter
1900
Taxi Driver
The Godfather: Part II
Mean Streets

You missed The Devil's Advocate Man. One more feather in Pacino's Fedora.
