Wonder why dave didnt interview these scared neighbors....I am guessing they are the typical s florida elderly people...and it is very overblown....it is a nice casino down there and I bet he meets some legitimate big money people in those cigar bars that he is angling on some scam and will probably be successful doing that via the white collar route down there...and I am sure some of them are white collar real estate or stock scammers as well...real estate market in s florida is still being pillaged by people who know what they are doing legally or otherwise

^^ I couldn't have said it better I was in Boyton Beach right near Boca. There were people from all over the globe at the facility I stayed at.. those areas of course there is elderly people. But Boyton, Delray beach, Boca, etc big recovery towns whatever your problem may (drugs, booze,hookers, depression) Alot of people go down there to get lost and those rehab centers are a racket within themselves.

Someone as charismatic as Joey could leach off big money, and then again his life revolves around crime its only a matter of time or a parole violation maybe they'll let him run loose for another year or two and then indict him on multiple charges.

In my opinion he should stay more low key right now. He is just rubbing his freedom in the face of the feds.

I would hope he would tone it down. What was the amount Joe Massino extorted someone for a few thousand dollars and he got 10 years for it. Awhile ago I read the last gangster, and the feds really tried to get Joey on drug charges he always seem to nix the idea I don't remember what the outcome of that was, but it was what it is.

Since not many busts seem to originate in florida I'm sure the guys down there don't want any undue attention brought on them and they're not happy about his presence. Either that, or maybe they feel like Joey has large aspirations and will try and consolidate a bunch of guys into a small family.

AC is not as big as it was during the Scarfo era when they even had some of the local politicians in their backpocket, im sure there is still some gambling and maybe union and construction (to a lesser extent) influence

With a gambling hub so close to them I would assume they would have some involvement in that.

That's funny I have a friend whose dad sent his son to a few different places spent thousands each time he went he'd be gone for 2 or 3 months at a time. The one time he was back, yeah it was too the badlands, and back to suburbia...His father was getting divorced and spending money left and right since he knew he'd half to split it with his wife he bought his son a new car..his dad says to me at the dealership " Hey __ You know how much I just spent sending him to ****** I could of bought a new house (meanwhile the guy his showing my friend all the cool gadgets on his new car) he's like keep an eye on him." I felt like a piece of shit lieing to him, I wasn't gonna rat my friend out to his dad even though it was for his own good, but 3 months later he was back in another place, since then haven't seen him" Known the kid since 1st grade
