In all the promotional pictures for GF1, it shows the family portrait from the wedding, without Michael (or Kay for that matter). In the movie, though Vito refuses to let the photographer take the picture without Michael. Why would FFC and the studios use such a photo without such a primary character as Michael?

Im guessing here, that picture you are referring to, might not be the "official" family picture, but a picture of the picture being set up, if that make sense confused , sort of like a movie in a movie rolleyes As for the absence of Michael, keep in mind, that Al Pacino, wasn't really in the role of a major character, in fact if Im not mistaken, he was relative unknown at the time, and the role of Michael is the one that propelled him into stardom. Like I said, this is just my best guess, and not meant to be gospel. blush

I love my Chrysler and tuna fish sandwiches.

Johnny, clearly this was a posed picture, not a setup of a setup. Also, while Pacino wasn't a major star, the rest of the famiy wasn't there. I'm just a little anal retentive. Vito wouldn't allow the picture to be taken without Michael; yet, the picture is there. Why Francis, why? confused
