I figured I would ask this after joining if anyone thinks that the whole glamor and excess look from Scarface is becoming a more popular fashion trend? I'm referring to the furniture and cars coming back into style, not so much the post-disco clothing.

Thanks for your post Marco. I was begining to wonder when someone would comment on my post. I was doing my Christmas shopping a few weeks ago and i stumbled across Scarface incense and calendars. Granted I have seen poster since I was a kid in the mid 1980s in video-stores but incense? Anyhow I think people are becoming more and more aware of how wild the 1980s were. It was about as fucked up then with our government and inflaitation as now but we partied and paid no mind to the hysteria at the time. Kind of makes you wonder what they will bring back next from the movie.

I've seen Scarface Lamps in Spencer Gifts.

I think its mainly due to the fact that some rapper likes Scarface, then all the other rappers jump on the bandwagon, then the kids who buy the rappers' albums decide they need to like what thier favorite rappers like, so they say they like Scarface rolleyes
