I just rented this movie watched it in full for the 1st time, I dont know, I found it kinda boring, and the story lacked the passion of the Godfathers and Goodfellas and even Casino, to me, maybe I had too high expectations for this movie, but I will give it a B-

I thought it was a terrific film, but I must be honest; this film has lost its hold on me. I used to be in love with it, but the pacing of the film is way off. It goes from being slow for a half hour, to electrifying, then back to slow again for a little while, then really slow, and then the finale. It didn't quite grab ahold of me like The Godfather films, or Goodfellas. But, as always, Pacino was electrifying. I still give this film *** 1/2 outta ****.

Boring!? What's boring about it?? It took me a couple of times before I loved it too. Keep watching it, Pacino will grow on you! wink

"Boring? Whats Boring?"
"Your boring Tony."

Sorry had to put that Irishman. You reminded me of that. Anyhow, I love this movie. I feel like when I watch it, when the credits roll, that the opening credits were just about an hour ago. I dunno maybe ts the song...

They sure do! No commentary or anything. All they did was take the special feature from the first DVD (which was about an hour long) and they just split it up into different segments that you see now. They didn't add anything I don't think except all the rap crap. I am glad however to hear that you're enjoying it more.

The boxed set makes up for it. It is by far the coolest DVD set (based on looks) I own/have ever seen.

"Somebody told me when the bomb hits, everybody in a two mile radius will be instantly sublimated, but if you lay face down on the ground for some time, avoiding the residual ripples of heat, you might survive, permanently fucked up and twisted like you're always underwater refracted. But if you do go gas, there's nothing you can do if the air that was once you is mingled and mashed with the kicked up molecules of the enemy's former body. Big-kid-tested, motherf--ker approved."
