hi everyone!

this is my first post here... nice to see so many people as obsessed with the godfather films as i am!

i've searched the forums but couldn't find all the answers i am looking for, hope someone can help. here are my questions:

1. i believe the tune played on the piano just after mike carries out the shooting in the café (gf part 1)is called "this lonliness". can anyone confirm this and is it available on cd? (i already own all 3 soundtracks and this music is not on any of them).

2. is there a full version available, of "ev'ry time i look into your eyes" (gf part 2 soundtrack), that doesn't fade into the godfather waltz?

3. i'm looking for the name and composer of the tune that is played by the swing band in the bandstand at anthony's first communion (gf part 2). i would also like to know if it might be available on cd. the music is accompanying a male and female entertainer, dancing at the front of the stage.

many thanks,

harry.

I don't know the answer to your questions, but WELCOME to the boards!

But if Clemenza can figure a way to have a weapon planted there for me then I'll kill 'em both.

I'll try to answer as best as I can-

to #'s 1 & 3- Carmine Coppola, not available on CD (Which really annoys me, especially "This Loneliness" whenever I re-watch GF1, I hum that tune for days afterwards.

#2- It may be available with out the fade on "The Godfather Suite" But I'm not certain. I'm getting my copy of that CD soon, I'll re-post and let you know...

You need to get hold of a copy of "The Godfather's Wedding Album". This has "This Loneliness" and "Ev'ry Time..." on it, as well as some other excellent music not available elsewhere. This is only available on LP though, so start searching eBay now!
