White supremacy and biker gangs go hand in hand. Though I believe a lot of it has to do with going to prison and having to be under the Aryans or other White Power prison gangs.

Yep, I knew they are mostly a bunch of Rednecks on bikes... I'm sure there's a few Italians, but not many in that group. I have ran into some breed guys and none looked Italian at all, just some aryan looking dudes.

I think they are referring mostly to "Junior" Napoli who was Bristol prez during the big meth bust, along w/ their natl president Sal D-something. However if you read through indictments/stories about them Italians do not seem overrepresented or anything, but what you would expect from a white gang drawing from an area w/ a significant Italian-American population.

And even a lot of the Italians involved have assimilated to the greaser, long hair, bearded etc. look one would expect...we're not talking Joey Merlino on his Harley here...

Couple things to note...

1. LCN guys can be VERY racist themselves.

2. A lot of even the "Nazi" groups are not really political, they just needed a tough name for their white gang (why they choose a MASSIVE heat magnet though...)

Robert Rosso wrote a great piece titled "Today's Aryan Brotherhood" which explains this better then I can as he is doing life in the feds, and was a shot caller for the Dirty White Boys.

One interesting point he makes is that people always say "The DWB is not a racist white gang like the Aryan Brotherhood," but according to him one is not more racist then the next, some are Nazis, some are not, most all are more focused on hustling. It just so happens guys like the AB choose to go w/ the Nazi imagery and like I said painted a big heat target on their back...

The FB of the a fore mentioned Mr. Rosso, he really is a great writer of true crime and prison reform, lol too good likely as he is currently in the hole because of an article he wrote pointing out the corruption of BOP staff.

I got ya. But the ones I was referring to were not Italian looking. I mean they didn't have the facial features, looks, etc. They looked Nordic or German.

Just do a simple google search and type in "hells angels" and "quebec construction unions" and see what you get.

Regardless, all unions are corrupt.

Well I certainly do not disagree with that point. I used to work at a factory in the summers when I was a student which employed 50-60 people and they were unionized. I'm not sure I would go as far as to say the union was corrupt but the employees who were friends with the president sure had it easier than those who weren't. Makes you wonder where your $ go when union fees are increased but the work environment stays the same or deteriorates. It also puts into perspective just how much power a guys like Hoffa and Tony Provenzano had.

While I can't deny that a lot of bikers ( especially of the violent, lesser known gangs like The Breed ) are racist, the Hells Angels are a far cry from a white supremacist group.
Barger's HA chapter for instance had Filipino and Pacific Islander members. Nowadays there probably are blacks in the group. Hells Angels Holland has a couple of Moluccan/Ambonese members and some Turks.
As for criminal activities...yeah the Angels are as bad as it can get. The Hells Angels Holland chapter ( the Nomads chapter of the HA's to be precise) for instance once did an infamous drug rip-off where they strangled 3 Colombians and chopped them up into god knows how many bits before dumping their remains. Hells Angels Holland in fact are known for being one of the most infamous criminal organizations to ever come out of Europe.
The funny thing is that even with all those cases put against them they keep denying being anything more than just a group of friends lol

until the mob was powerful, young Italian-Americans wanted to become mobsters, now especially with the RICO law become made man more is difficult because the families have become more elitist, and because it is very easy to be indicted. While becoming bikers can still make a lot of money with the drug, the bikers wont commit white-collar crimes, but they make a lot of money, the mafia also has many rules and bikers haven't any rule.
