Just curious ,outside of the Phila family ,what other members have relocated to the Atlantic City area to set up shop over the years ? Do the members live in the area ,and do they control any of the Seashore resorts ? I understand the Lucchese family had interests in Point Plesant NJ ,but was interested in knowing about towns such as Cape May NJ ,Avalon ,Stone Harbor ? Also Ocean Maryland has interested me . With all the money to be made an invested into legit business ,I would assume the families would want a piece of the action .

Scarfo Jr. was captain of the Lucchese's Jersey crew before he got bumped down.

Atlantic city yes and there will always be, but I highly doubt Avalon and Stone Harbor or Cape May, If u ever been there you would know why I see no. The Philly Mobsters for the most part like Margate, Longport, Ventnor and A.C. and Brigantine. I always thought Wildwood had a New York prescence down there.

The Hard Rock Casino is set to break ground in Atlantic City soon, so there is still alot of money to be made in that city.

the reason that Scarfo was demoted from capo to soldier, is because he wants, to take control of Philly Mob.

That was what was reported, and the press attention likely was at least part of the reason, but I don't think he ever had any intention of actually moving on Philly.

Agreed, for Scarfo to move back to the AC area was over blown, that's his home. The media mainly FoxPhilly news talked about just for ratings. Was there tension between Scarfo and Philly? I dont doubt it, but actually starting a war? No.

There was a rumor Ligambi tried to reach out to Scarfo and bring him back into the fold.

On the new indictment ,scarfo senior talks about getting a year run, then says putting the Hammar Down ! Reading into this it sounds like First you make the money ,then The Power ! I see the plan as taking over again !

It would have been impossible for Scarfo Jr. to switch families, if that's what you mean. He belongs to the Luccheses and he's better off with them anyway.

It was in the Philadelphia Inq. well before Scarfo moved back to South Jersey. The article was about Ligambi's low key ways. It said Ligambi tried to reach out to Scarfo Jr., but Scarfo rebuffed him.

The Perna's hated Scarfo Jr. as much as Merlino did. So better off with Luccheses? This indictment has shown he did still have influence in the philly-south jersey area.

Well, first, nobody in the Lucchese family has tried to kill him. And second, I think he's better off from a business standpoint. When was the last time we heard about anybody in the Philly family involved in a mult-imillion dollar bust out?

Yes agreed, the Philly Mob is too busy selling stolen rolex watches on the street corner.

But Scarfo has always been a stranger in North Jersey.
