I was wondering about the supposed four million dollar drug-deal loan between these two. Is there any evidence this story is true?

After reading the FBI file on Eboli, it seems out of character for him. I know we have all read this account, just wondering where it originated and if it was ever confirmed. Thanks

From what I know Eboli got wound up in a $4 million drug deal. Eboli borrowed money from Carlo Gambino because he could not raise the cash needed for the deal. Eboli's partner (Louis Cirillo), was caught with the drugs by the police, and was sentenced to 25 years and the drugs and money taken. When Gambino told Eboli to repay him he refused. This in turn lead to his demise.
