Bo2 OP B Associate Joined: Apr 2006 Posts: 3 Honolulu	When Michael meets with Sen. Geary in his Nevada office, Sen. Geary mentions that Mike plans to make a move and move Klingman out. Mike then glares at Tom Hagen as if he missed something. What's that all about? Who's Klingman? Also, why does Mike then mention that Turnbull is a good man? How did Frank Pentangeli's brother's appearance at the senate hearing cause him to recant on his testimony? Was it because he would be considered a rat by his tough brother?

Sollozo theTurk Wiseguy Joined: Apr 2006 Posts: 20	Klingman was an owner of a casino that was moved out by Al Neri. Neri goes to the casino, roughs him up and tells him to get out. It was a deleted scene that can be seen on the trilogy boxset. Pentangeli stopped ratting because either A)He saw his brother and it reminded him he was breaking Omerta. After seeing the worried look on his brothers face he decides to keep the family honor. B)Frankie might have thought Mike was going to kill his brother if he continued ratting out the Corleones. I tend to think it's reason number A though.

I believe that Turnbull was Geary's political bagman--an intermediary between Geary and the people who need to bribe him to get his political favors. The look that Michael shot Tom came after Geary said that his move on the Tropigala(?) would leave him with a "technical problem--the license will be in Klingman's name." When Michael said, "Turnbull's a good man," I think he meant, "We already took care of your bribe through your bagman, Turnbull. What's the problem?" I really didn't want to get too involved with the process, so I told the realtors, that my sisters name was Turnbull, and all correspondence will be through her True! She kept me informed of what was going on, and I only had to agree to offer and be at the closing. Geary had the right idea, sit back with the women and let others handle his dirty work I love my Chrysler and tuna fish sandwiches.
