OK lets flip this thing over and vote for the best acted, or quintessential moment.


I HAVE to say its in GFII when Don Fennuccio pinches DeNiro's cheek after Vito deals with the "devil"... then the scene ligners and DeNiro touches his cheek and checks it for..... who knows what? ... is this the origen of the face wiping gesture we see in the older Vito? Wiping away that initial touch of evil?

The most profound moment for me through the entire Trilogy would have to be the ending of Godfather Part 1, with the assassinations of the heads of the five families.

Yes Don Lights, that's one of mine too. Another one is when Michael is in the restaurant..the look on his face as he contemplates killing the Police Chief!!!

I love the closing of the door to block out Kay at the very end of the first GODFATHER. That look on her face! How it differs from the look of relief she had moments before when Michael told her Connie's accusations were not true!
