I've always wondered, since this is the GF aficianado's website...which character would you like to have seen more of a back story on?

I would like to have seen more development of:
1. Rocco Lampone's story
2. Neri's back story as described in the novel
3. Clemenza, Tessio and Vito's early relationship (as expressed in GF2 but maybe more...say, the first major war they were all in).
4. Tom being welcomed into the family as a teen along with crazy Sonny.

What would you all have liked to have seen in a back story?

Fabrizzio in New York. under the protection of Barzini.

Anything to do with young Clemenza.

Luca Brasi taking out the men Capone sent to NY.

Lucy's plumbing.

Don Tomassino's Sicily operation.

We got a glimpse of teenaged Roth joining Vito's organization in a deleted scene from II. I'd like to have seen how he developed within Vito's organization (i.e., running molasses into Canada, etc.), and how his relationship with Michael developed.

Can you imagine if Michael had told Kay that story while they were eating at the wedding? She would have been so scared she would have ran away on the spot and played no further part in the trilogy (come to think of it, things probably would have worked out better for Michael that way!).

Vito's/Genco's building of the political arm of the Corleone Family and why that was as important as anything Clemenza or Tessio were doing.

"Some of the judges" discussing with their wives whether or not they should attend Connie's wedding.

I would love to see Clemenza and Frankie Pentangeli raising hell back in the day.
