Thats probably why Carmin Persico Sr. was called "The Snake" but i could be wrong. Just a guess but there could be another reason? Setting up his friend Larry Gallo for execution in a dingy bar would be the leading candidate. He initially joined the Gallos in their revolt against Profaci and was taken under his wing by Larry when he first started running numbers for Frankie Shots in the mid 1950's. In other words, the very definition of a snake.
