Bummer - Mary Travers died. Peter, Paul & Mary are Folk Music legends. I always loved their smooth as silk style and harmonies. They did a Holiday Concert some 20+ years ago that is an annual favorite on public television.

Bye, Mary...RIP

A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government.

- THOMAS JEFFERSON

Funny how Mary got a lot of coverage on the "Dead Pool" thread. Is there a commentary there?

She was a talent. She had a strong, almost haunting voice. Her vocals were at the forefront of the trio. Peter and Paul filled in the background. They had some great song interpretations; "Leaving on a Jet Plane", "Blowin' In the Wind" and "If I Had a Hammer."
