DiMaggio, as co-moderator of this board, I need to warn you that, when you post large amounts of text from copyrighted material, such as Jerry Capeci's "Complete Idiot's Guide to the Mafia" (above), you should acknowledge the source. Otherwise we could have a problem with intellectual property use.

Some of it I got from Jerry's book and some I got from other sources. However, I did put it in my own words regardless...

I noticed u like to put dirt on other peoples threads. No disrespect to u but It's like painting a really nice picture and somebody coming along and punching a hole right through it. Some of the information I got from The Idiots Guide and also The Everything Mafia Book. I understand you're a history buff and I'm one as well. Now You know what they say about people that are to much alike right? They never get along.......

Actually, Jerry Capeci never mentioned the current position of the NO family, but I did happen to. There's other things that I added that were not in the two books that I got some of the sources from. I really tried the best I could to put The history of the family in my own words. There's definitely some similarities to our articles, though.

Why don't everybody take a vote on if It's totally the same or not. Maybe we could put both up to match it.

The board is not a democracy. If a moderator suggests something, then you should do it. If you still feel strongly about the moderator's decision then you can appeal your view to Geoff, the board's administrator.

In any event, please take this off the boards.

Don't know what I ever did wrong to you bro, but i did let Geoff know about the disareement. I Don't even know u from Adam. The only thing I do know is at times you're very quick to judge me before studying further to see if my info is correct or not. I'm sorry if i did anything to disrespect you in the past. These forums are about ALLEGED OC last i checked. None of us are perfect 100% of the time. Sometimes I could slip and put a wrong date or where something took place, but I try to put factual info on every post and/or thread I make. My info was not copied once so ever.
