I watched it recently (third time) and the plot was already more clear. A few questions remain, tough.
Where was Dominic Abbandando in this movie?
Who is the kind of bodyguard guy that is often around Michael? He looks a lot like Zasa?
What has Tom Hagen's son done after he left to Rome? I think I saw him after he left, but since he doesn't has recognizable head, I did't really know.
Who killed Cardinal Lamberto? Was it the Archbishop, or just someone ordered by Lucchese?
Did Lucchese really believe that Vincent was turning rat?
I also don't understand the major plot: Why were all the Church/maffia guys (Keinszig, Lucchese, ...) against the Corleone's?
Were Keinszig and the Archbishop allies?
See, we can act as smart as we want, but at the end of the day, we still follow a guy who fucks himself with kebab skewers.

Where was Dominic Abbandando in this movie? He was Micahels Public Realtions, press person. Who is the kind of bodyguard guy that is often around Michael? He looks a lot like Zasa? Are you talking about the guy in the begining of the movie? If so that is Abbandando. If you are talking about in Sicily, then it is Calo, his bodyguard form the italy scenes in GFI. What has Tom Hagen's son done after he left to Rome? I think I saw him after he left, but since he doesn't has recognizable head, I did't really know. He secures a postion in the Vatican as a priest. He appears in the scene in Rome when Michael is seeking an audience with Cardinal Lamberto. he even says " Uncle Michael." Who killed Cardinal Lamberto? Was it the Archbishop, or just someone ordered by Lucchese? He was poisoned. So obviously it had to be someone from within the Vatican. It very well could have been the Archbishop, under the orders of Lucchese. Did Lucchese really believe that Vincent was turning rat? I believe that he did. I also don't understand the major plot: Why were all the Church/maffia guys (Keinszig, Lucchese, ...) against the Corleone's? To embezzle the money and remain in control of Immobiliare. Were Keinszig and the Archbishop allies? In the business end of the plot, yes. Don Cardi
Don Cardi Five - ten years from now, they're gonna wish there was American Cosa Nostra. Five - ten years from now, they're gonna miss John Gotti.

[/b] Enzo, lots of people on these Boards, including me, don't understand the major plot. That's one of the major weaknesses of GFIII.

[/b]I Think you mean Dominic Abbandando, thats the guy who told to the guys from the press: The pope himself this day blessed Micheal Corleone. Do you think you know better than the pope?
