In a van down by the river!
I love sweet tea. When I was in Alabama for a week it was great, I could get sweet tea everywhere and ranch dressing came with everything...

Up here in Indiana though there's very few places to get it.

McDonalds has 32oz sweet tea for $1, I tried it once and it was HORRIBLE. But then I had a free coupon for a sweet tea so I figured I'd give it another chance. I've gotten it a few times since then and it has been pretty good. I'm surprised. Costs less than a coke!

Long as I remember The rain been coming down.
Clouds of Mystery pouring Confusion on the ground.
Good men through the ages, Trying to find the sun;
And I wonder, Still I wonder, Who'll stop the rain.

I'm not sure what you mean by "sweet tea"... like, Snapple and Arizona and Nestle?

(Snapple is the best!)

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol

If it's ice tea that Longneck is referring to, Nestea, Snapple Lemon, Lipton Brew Lemon and Lipton Brisk are all very good. To me Nestea or Snapple Lemon are the best. Love ice tea.

I live in Alabama and i can not stand sweet tea but
Longneck is right you can go to anywhere and get sweet tea down here. I know people that only drink sweet tea, IMHO it is disgusting.

But what is it? lol

Okay, I see... so it's like a super-sweet iced tea... I think I'd prefer regular-sweet or even unsweetened...

They sure do. It is AWESOME. Snapple, Arizona, Nestle make me wanna puke. Some try to make "sweet tea" but they just get it wrong.

Welcome to the board.

Some of the stuff on that page didn't seem right to me, but you get the idea. Iced tea with lots of sugar.

Absolutely right. I had heard of Southern sweet tea and had som facsimiles north of the Mason Dixon, but when I spent time in Macon about 15 years, I realized what all the talk is about. I got addicted, and my first gulps of thsat icy brew each morning would make my eyes roll in the back of my head.

Learned something new, its expensive, but Agave Nectar is a great sweetener, all natural, much sweeter than honey, but with less sucrose (dont ask me how), its not cheap at $4/bottle, but it rocks because you can use it in ice cold drinks because unlike honey/sugar, it dissolves easy in ice cold drinks... check it out!

PS - no, tastes nothing like tequila but its great in a margarita too!
