I have three of the four; can't place the Pacino film. 2 is The Night of the Hunter; 3 is Run Lola Run and 4 is Double Indemnity.

I haven't even heard of that film. I just fell off my chair. I actually saw a movie that Capo didn't. Just as you once recommended that I see "Annie Hall", which I did and enjoyed by the way, I will recommend "And Justice for All." The film blends comedy with drama, and has a memorable ending. At times the characters become caricatures, but it is a fun movie to watch. Pacino plays a ballsy public defender, an attorney in America who represents indigent criminal defendants (I don't know if this term is commonly known in the UK), who is very much committed to his clients. I first saw the movie when I was in high school, and watched it again years later when I too was a public defender. It's certainly not a classic, but I found it well worth the watch.

Have you seen the show The Wire? The show's creators, executive producers, and actors have lawyers coming up to them and telling them they got the lawyer/legal stuff dead-on. The FBI and police tell them the same.
