Hi all, I've posted many a question on this board before, but I had to leave it alone for a while... but now I'm back! My question today is....Doesn't everyone in the mafia have to be a made man? I ask this becuase what if Mike's son Anthony wanted to take control of the family one day, would he be able to? I thought you had to be 100% italian to become a "made man" or a boss, and technically he wouldn't be becuase his mother (Kay) was not Italian. Most likely, he'd be able to because of who his father was...just an observation.
Your thoughts?
"Why do you hurt me Mike...I've always been loyal to you. I mean, what is this?"

I thought you could only be a made man if you were 100% Itallian also, so that they could trace your ansestors back to the old country.
But in GF3 Vincent, whose Mother was not married when he was born took over from Micheal, so I thought that would have been frowned upon, but I guess the whole of GF3 is frowned upon by a lot of people!

My understanding has always been that a man "made his bones" by committing murder, usually in service to his Don.
Leave the gun. Take the cannoli.
