Where will "I'll make him an offer he can't refuse" rank?

I'll say top 5 for sure, and IMO, it should be number 1. But there are so many great movie quotes from so many movies. Is "I'll make him an offer he can't refuse" really the best line?

And what other lines could possibly make the top 100 list?

Well Godfather II was in the 70's or something like that with, "Keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer."

And the Godfather was #2 with "I'll make him an offer he can't refuse."

I do think "Luca Brasi sleeps with the fishes" should have been included.

I heard on the news this morning that the top three were:
1. "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn" -- Gone With the Wind.
2. "I'll make him an offer he can't refuse" -- GF.
3. "I coulda been a contenduh." -- On the Waterfront.

I was lucky enough to catch the last hour (and Top 10) of this special.

Proud to say, I predicted to myself that Gable's 'Frankly my dear...." would be Number 1 and it was.

Also, at last commercial break before revealing the top 3 quotes was a little trivia question, which actor spoke TWO of the top 3 AFI film qoutes - Brando/Gable/Jimmy Stewart?

At first I thought it would be Gable, since his line would obviously be in the top 3...then during the break I began thinking about it and there was no other memorable line throughout his career. Then I thought of Brando in both 'Waterfront' and 'Godfather' and figured it absolutely HAD to be him.

And as it turned out I was right.

Cool special...wish I had realized it was on sooner in the evening.

There were some people who were interesting to listen to, but Jennifer Grey... what is the deal with her. And I am not too interested in the cheesy quotes. All in all I was pretty happy with the outcome.

There are so many great quotes from the Godfather. It adds even more to the movie. I find myself quoting all the time.

It also adds some advice when it comes to life:

-Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer

-Don't hate your enemies, it only clouds your judgment

-Don't let anyone outside the family no what you're thinking

Ultimate breakup line was in part II:
