I know I caught GF1 on A&E a few weeks back and recorded it on the DVR- I ain't erasing that for a while! I know the TV version is cut-up and a lot of scenes omitted- what are some scenes on the DVD not on free TV? The profanity of course is one. I know of the Appolonia scene, where she is nude. What other gory scenes?- I know when Moe gets shot in the eye, in the uncut scene, blood squirts out for a few seconds. Anything else bloody? I'm thinking of buying the Trilogy.

Howie, there are many versions of the GF Trilogy available. But, to cut to the chase: --The "Saga" version often shown on cable has the entire trilogy in chronological order, with all deleted scenes restored in their proper places. Some of the dialog and violence have been slightly trimmed, but, IMO, this is the best version to have. But:
--You should buy the DVD set in any case because the quality is better. The three films are included in theatrical release versions. But, as Don Cardi said in another thread, the DVD set has an "extras" disc that not only includes all the deleted scenes, but plenty of excellent additional material as well. In fact, just one of the extras--on how FFC made the movie, including DeNiro's and Brando's screen tests--is worth the price of the entire boxed set.
