I hear there a new one coming out in 2008 not sure of the title, hope it lives up to the Last 3,it will be nearly 20 years since the last film. How do you think it will received.I cant see it being has good has the orginals but i hope that im proved wrong.

My personal fav is Temple Of Doom i just love the storyline and the adventure they go on. The palace scene being best of the film.

Raider of the Lost ark 1981

Temple of doom 1984

Last Crusade 1989

Harrison is 65 now, lets hope he doesn't have a stroke on set and completes the film..

Don Cardi cool

I love the original. It was so much fun and so "camp". A real throwback to the thriller/adventure films from the 40's. The second was OK but the third one was a little too contrived for me.

Raiders is my favorite, as well...although I love the entire trilogy.

My favorite was Last Crusade. I love the chemistry between Ford and Connery. I think it's the funniest of the three. Raiders would be a very close second though.

Wow another CRUSADER fan. My ranking for the trilogy would be:

1) THE LAST CRUSADE
2) RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK
3) THE TEMPLE OF DOOM

The first film, hands down. The other two were typical, bad sequels that should have never been made. Not a dull moment in "Raiders of the Lost Ark."

I remember the Last Crusade and parts of Temple of Doom, which I liked, but I haven't seen Raiders of the Loost Ark since it came out, and don't remeber it well. I remember liking it though..

For once I disagree with something you have said Goombah \:o

I think the Indiana Jones trilogy is one of the best, second only to the Back to the Future trilogy which is my personal favorite. I think the sequels were strong on their own. If you look at how everyone here ranks them, each list is completely different from the next. I think that is what is so cool about the three movies. They appeal to the "Indy" fans, but each movie stands out to different people.

While I liked Temple of Doom, it is my least favorite and not one I would watch as much as the other two, but I definitely wouldn't say it is a typical, bad sequel.

No problem bro, to each his own! How boring it would be if we all agreed.

Perhaps my statement about the films not being made was too harsh. I concur with you that the third film was better than the second. I hated the second because of that little kid's character and I found the woman annoying. I remember seeing it when it first came out and being very disappointed after "Raiders" had been sooooo good.

But the first film had so many compelling characters: Marion, Col. Dietrich, the Arab helper Sallah, and Rene Belloq. IMO no characters even came close to these in the 2nd and 3rd installments.

The little kid in Temple of Doom was a little annoying... I cringe every time I hear his high voice say "Doctuh Jones!" over and over...

Raiders is my favorite-I remember seeing it in the theaters years ago and just within the last few months when the Clearview Cinemas re-released it on the big screen in Ocean Township at the Middlebrook Galleria-:)

The new film is called
INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL

Although I like all 3 movies here is how I rank them.

1)Raiders of the Lost Ark
2)The Last Crusade
3)The Temple of Doom.

My favorite scene from all 3 appears in Raiders of the Lost Ark, where that big guy is waving a big ass sword around, and Indy just looks at him, pulls out his gun and shoots him.
