Hello,
can anyone tell me where Don Ciccio's Villa in GFII is located in real life? I do know where Don Tommasino's is, but not Don Ciccio's...
I would be very pleased if somebody could help me because I'm leaving to Sicily tomorrow.
Thanks in advance
I just returned from Italy earlier this month. It was a fantastic trip.
While in Palermo, I stayed in the Hotel Grande Delle Palme, where Lucky Luciano kept a suite and 'the five families' divided up the world's drug trade in October 1957.
We also went to the Theatro Massimo, in Palermo, where they filmed the ending of GFIII.
The Sicilian towns of Savoca and Forza d'Agro, which are outside of Tiaromina, were used as the town of Corleone. The town used as Corleone, Forza D' Agro, was only about a 10 minute drive from our Hotel in Taromina. On my second day in Taromina I set out to go to the town. While I was there, Sicily had this record heat wave and there were many brush fires, some really raging out of control. Unfortunately the main road to Forza D' Agro was closed off because the firetrucks and other emergency vehicles needed to use it to access the areas surrounding the village that had fires blazing. So I was not able to get into the Village.
As Turnbull said, Don Tommassino's mansion is called Villa Palatantia. I believe that the Villa is actually in Fummafredo Sicily, which is about 10 minutes from Tiaromina.
