Carmine Caridi was in GF II as Carmine Rosato, and GF III as Albert Volpe the "lucky coat" guy. Any other situations like this? One actor, two characters?

Frank Sivero; he played Genco in Part II and was an (uncredited) onlooker in Part I when Sonny beat Carlo.

Sofia Coppola beats them, though; she played three different characters in all three movies of the trilogy (although some would say she didn't act in Part III).

I believe thatCarmine Caridi was initially considered for the role of Luca Brasi.

Connie and Carlo's baby at the baptism in GF.

The immigrant girl on the Moshulu in GFII.

Mary in GFIII.

I remember reading that Carmine Caridi was one of those considered for Sonny early on. Offhand, I can't remember specifically which book(s) had that information. I'll have to check.

Signor V.

Edit: It's in The Godfather Legacy by Harlan Lebo.

It was Sonny? Ok. I knew that he had been considered for a part in GFI. For some reason I thought that it was for the character of Luca. Thanks Signor V.

Tom Hagen died, apparently, and George's character took his place. What's the real question, and why's it being asked in this thread? \:p Welcome, tho... ;\)

The hero and the coward both feel the same thing, but the hero uses his fear, projects it onto his opponent, while the coward runs. It's the same thing, fear, but it's what you do with it that matters. Cus D'Amato

You know, there's a special hell for those who criticize Sophia's performances.

Then again Marie Antoinette was a little strange.
