Can anyone out there help me out?? I have decided to start reading The Godfather and I am almost done with it. Does anyone know what book comes after the original in accordance with the movie triology? I have seen several novels by Mario Puzo, but I wasn't sure which one was next. I didn't see the Godfather II as a second book as in the movie. Thanks to anyone who has the answer!!

There aren't any other Godfather books by Puzo. The character of Michael Corleone has a supporting role in the novel The Sicilian.

Godfather's Return and Godfather's Revenge were recently written by Mark Winegardner but we don't really recognize them on these boards. They are trash.

Interesting post Pizza. The book doesn't mention anything about the other author. It's copyright is 1969. So, basically, once I read the Godfather novel, I have to revert to the DVD's part II & III to find out the rest of the story. I am almost finished with the book. When I am done with it I wanted to watch the movie. I am 34 years old and I have never seen the Godfather. I was going to take the second book on after that and then watch part II. I guess my Odessy ends with book one.

Your odessy may end with the finsihing of the book, but it's just begining with your now being a member of this site!
