Where was Neri?

We see Neri help lead Michael and Vincent out of the "hit on the whole commission"... but when Vincent hotwires the limo... you dont see Neri get in?

That always had me curious and bothered me

Didn't Michael and Vincent take a helicopter to AC? If they did, then where was Neri? I don't recall him even being on the helicopter when they were going to AC. Has my brain gone sour?

Neri probably went to AC in advance to make sure things were secure. He just never thought about a helicopter hit.

I heard a rumor that Neri thought Klingman was at the AC casino. So Neri went ahead of Michael & Vincent's helicopter trip to scout the available chairs he could use to swing at Klingman. ;\)

I thought Neri was seen, briefly, behind Michael and Vincent after they exited the helicopter.

Neri was semi retired. At the train station scene in Sicily Mike tells Kay he just keeps Neriaround to carry his briefcase and open car doors.
